Many Chinese are able to speak Mandarin and English. They are also able to speak a variety of different languages.

About 7.5% of Chinese don’t have medical insurance. Some barriers Chinese have to face are language barriers, genetics, and cultural barriers. Many Chinese believe in Chinese Medicine. Chinese Medicine is made out of various herbs, nuts, and other foods. These are used to help heal from sicknesses and keeping a balance in the body.

Social Hierarchy:

Chinese families are important to one another. It brings them a sense of identity and support. Elders are always to be respected and honored in a family. The father is dominant in the family, but the mother is also to be respected by her husband and children.

Diet:

Many Chinese diets are heavy of carbs and fatty meats. Chinese dishes are typically made with fresh food from the garden. Some popular traditional Chinese dishes are; Hot Pot, Dumplings, and Chow Mein.

Life Expectancy:

The average life expectancy of Chinese is 69.9 years.
